Williames trays are designed based on decades of growing experience, and are known to grow some of the best seedlings possible.The indexing mechanism built into each Williames vegetable tray enables selective automatic transplanting in the field. And the Williames tray washer ensures trays are kept disease free, and can be used over and over. With well positioned strengthening ribs the long life of Williames trays means tray costs can be amortized over dozens of planting seasons, reducing costs and environmental impact.

Williames vegetable seeding lines are known for their speed, accuracy and longevity. The ST2500 model can process up to 2,500 trays per hour – twice as much as any competitors product. Growers prefer Williames fillers and seeders over others due to their high accuracy, with a uniform, even fill, and excellent singulation, resulting in up to 6% more live plants. And with rugged construction some vegetable seeding lines have been in operation for over 30 years.

Williames racks, benches and rail systems reduce the effort required to move seedling trays through the different areas of the nursery, reducing double handling. Stackable racks and benches sized for truck transport mean that a tray can come off the seeding line and remain on the same rack all the way to the field.

The Williames selective automatic field transplanter takes the labor out of transplanting, automatically “gapping up” when a plug in a tray has no plant in it. One or two people can do the work of ten or more, and with fast planting rates daily acreages transplanted are high.
